   Am disgusted by that ‘Fathers action.
   What is the purpose of church? Is it only for the saints? JC himself said come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

   That girl walked in late, God knows from where.She needed refuge not castigation.That Father should have asked a female member to talk to the girl like a child and ask her what brought her to church! For heavens sake a sinner walks into the Gods house and one fleshy father only see the mini?? not even her sick heart?

   You know what op? Nobody comes to God a saint or else coming to Him becomes a vain thing. Church must learn to accomodate all manner of people and show them the truth.Its the word of God which will transform them.
   Damn she didnt do nothing wrong becz what Father Fleshy did is not what JC would have done! Infact I see JC embracing the girl and wiping off her tears.

   I definitely know that those clothes were not the only ones she had in her wardrobe so her dressing that way had a sinister purpose. Moreover her reaction to the chastisement shows the kinda person she is. But while saying that i think the father’s reaction on the other hand is not too appropriate. What happened to calling her to your office or somewhere private and advising or tonguelashing her as the case may be

   Surely, Is calling her a jezebel chastisement? Thats the language she’s used to on the streets and that’s what any MOG should expect on first encounter with such.Cursing.Expecting a sheep that bleats to miaw like a cat is wrong.
   The first thing in winning people over is to accept them with all their shortcomings.Let them come in Unclad,drunk,cursing and all that.After showing them love then you can preach sense into their heads and finally hearts.
   Now any man of God who expects a sinner to walk in changed before being preached to is not abiding with Gods word.
   As far as am concerned the Father was wrong because hes the one in the light and he should point out the right direction not send her back to the street after all he didnt force her into the church.She walked in!

     From your discription, she was probably comin 4m a night bash or headin 2 d beach, she got wat she deserved cos “d way u dress determines d way u are addressed”.

   The father is didnt do well and doesn’t know what he’s doing on that altar,what gives him the right to cast someone away from the house of the lord?

   For all you know that girl may seriously need help\ deliverance and he pushed her away,does he even know where she was coming from?

   Jesus didn’t push mary magdalene(a known ho)away when she came to him,instead he accepted her and brought repentance her way like he did many other sinners. Like Aunty pendulum said,church is not for saints,one of its purpose (major sef)is to bring sinners to God.

   That girl could be seeking refuge and where’s the best place to get that if not the house of God?now he chased her away,how will she now perceive “church and so called men of God”?

   I know a church that accepts you the way you are (even clothes wise)and by the time you come there 2 to 3 times and see how you look odd from everyone else and how they show you love by teaching you the word and encourage you,you’d be the one striving to make a change from whatever wrong you are doing.

   Walahi many of these fake preachers are the reason why there are many sinners everywhere,all they know is bring money. She didn’t even insult him well enough,stuppid man he is.

   Btw its a common norm in the catholic church not to allow any indecent dresser near the church without knowing or caring whether the person is already a member or a lost soul seeking christ, who may not even know a thing about the church. part of why I left,their ways just tire me.

   Where did I say I left because of discipline? I don’t want to start a denominational war here o,I said I left because some of their ways tire me,I didn’t state any in particular. The comment about not allowing any person not decently dressed into the church only means they don’t welcome everyone not minding\knowing your reason for coming the way you are and the christ I know wouldn’t do that.
